OXST Fashion Showcase | Talk and Q&A with Caroline Issa

So I had the privilege and opportunity to meet Caroline Issa as I won the competition from OXST which was held in London. I learned so much much from the talk which gave me a broader inside into print,Tank magazine and also how she began to make her mark in the fashion world.I know this post is a bit vague but words cannot describe how lucky I felt to be in her presence.

I saw this dress in Forever 21 and of course I bought it. I dreamt, tweeted and had a snapchat session with it on. I went to Forever 21 for two days,contemplating and trying on this dress.This rose print dress is everything for me this summer. When I first saw this dress ,this song was singing at the back of my head.

Today I woke up and got ready to meet up with two of my really good mates for a Reunion/Farewell luncheon as I'm leaving South Africa and moving to England in about four days.I'm very very very excited but also sad to leave my lovely friends. 

The Hard Rock Cafe has the most amazing food EVER!!! I have been eyeing to go to this place for months.Their food is so delicious and I can't wait to go back but sometime in the near future!They also have really good service even when they are so busy.Everything there is rad,the passage way going into the toilets are so cool.I love that place...Also did a small camera tester from lunch as many people had been asking me about the quality and such. Didn't really take many photos because I was running out of film but I love my polaroid it's just that you have to buy in bulk when buying film.

Next we went to TopShop and I picked up this lovely necklace. I might post more photos of it tomorrow when It will appear a bit more clearer. I love it so much! Hope Topshop starts to sell more pieces  like this!

Deadbeat Summer

So I received a lovely bag from Grazia & Anni King the other day and I am so grateful! So I thought I would show you guys how I would pair my lovely bag they sent me for an ideal perfect summer on a sunlit street :) I went shopping yesterday and picked up some goodies from Topshop & Cotton On. They were some items that are on sale so I was so overjoyed and these are basically essentials for me in my wardrobe.Here are three of my potential outfits taken through my iPhone.

So today I received my gorgeous prize from Grazia this morning. I am still so overjoyed with this masterpiece from Anni King. I cannot wait to style this bag with other pieces and it is definitely going to be my go to bag on my flight to the UK in about two weeks time. So thank you very much to Grazia and Anni King.

Inspo Monday

Hellooo

Well I have decided to do like something called an ' Inspo Monday ' and it is basically some pictures or quotes that have popped up on my dashboard on tumblr. I am constantly posting on my tumblr which is really good for my followers and for inspo. I love tumblr,I honestly do. Tumblr has helped me get so many inspirations for fashion and it also helped when I was doing my portfolio to get in to  University for the Creative Arts. It is basically an app I use second thing I wake up because what I check first are my emails but yeh this is my inspo for Monday and basically for the week as this will be only done on Mondays. Mondays are like everyone who works worst day, so hopefully it will brighten up your day :)

Goodman Gallery with homme+des+s3pt

Hi guys! So I met up with a guy from tumblr yesterday who asked me to his prom/matric dance as we call it here and South Africa and I agreed to go. He is literally one of the most sweetest guy I have ever met and you should check out his tumblr because it is pretty rad homme+des+s3pt . He took me to Goodman Gallery,we were meant to go to another one but I think there were still setting up on renovating.We actually trekked for about 15 minutes,from The Zone in Rosebank to Goodman Gallery. It was really lovely cause I usually do not take walks or run outside and its usually on the treadmill. The sun was out and it was a lovely day.

The artist is Frances Goodman and the theme was 'Nail her'. I did not actually realise what the theme was cause I didn't read and was just being ignorant.This is was actually my first experience in an art gallery!!!My lovely friend then explained to me like 10 minutes after seeing the exhibition that the pieces were made from nails. It was very much of an 'lol' moment.Then there were more cool art, it was so rad. The artist actually made like art from hair whether it was pubic hair I dont know...but he/she also did pieces with eyelashes. My fav ones were the taxidermy ones as it remind me of my lovely neck piece from Zara.Here are some photos from the art gallery, I didn't take much or record at all as I wanted to enjoy my time, but here are some :)

Welcome to my blogspot! Sorry I forgot to do an introduction and just dived straight into it.I finally decided to start doing this on a more professional platform.I am going to focus on fashion, events I attended and a little insight of my life through my eyes!I'll have more time to work on my blog cause I'm only starting Uni in England in September.
